Second-alarm House Fire In Milpitas Brings FASCV Response

Details: Small, single-family, single-story frame dwelling. House was undergoing interior remodeling and garage was full of stuff. A well-developed fire in the garage was discovered by next-door neighbor (a Milpitas 9-1-1 dispatcher). She called it in while her husband rushed next door to rouse occupants who were sound asleep and not aware of the fire. Chief Kastros stated that lives were saved by their actions. Three occupants and two guests were displaced.
