March 18, 2007 -- Sunnyvale 2nd-alarm Fire

Early Sunday morning (Mar. 18, 2007 @ 05:08) Len Williams responded in Support Unit #1 to a 2nd-alarm condo fire in Sunnyvale. Read the following for details:

"SUNNYVALE
- A two-alarm fire erupted at a two-story condo in Sunnyvale at 553 Manet Terrace, just off of East Fremont Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. today, according to Sunnyvale city spokesman John Pilger. When police and firefighters arrived, Pilger said they found flames bursting through windows of one condo apartment that was attached to six others. According to Pilger, the flames were contained to one upstairs unit that sustained heavy smoke and fire damage. The fire was brought under control at around 5:30 a.m. and did not cause any injuries, according to Pilger."
